The title refers to the return of the witch hunt, a phenomenon reaching proportions akin to the original religious witch hunts of the 16th and 17th centuries in Europe and America. In the brave new world, however, the hunt of the free-thinker is fueled more by political hysteria and groupthink rather than religious madness, although that, too, never fails to play a part in the disharmony of humankind.
